Since 1937, our family's place has been a home-away-from-home to guests returning year after year who appreciate our convenient location, moderate rates, charming rooms and old-fashioned hospitality. Our cozy informality, proximity to both village life and the beautiful, warm waters of Nantucket Sound make this the perfect place for those who want to walk, shop, play golf, swim or just curl up in the hammock with a good book.

Rear House

Each of our two classic Cape Cod houses has four bedrooms, offering a variety of rates and accommodations: a two-room Efficiency Suite or individual rooms, king or twin beds, private or shared bath, AC or natural ocean breezes. All rooms display original art by local artists, are attractively decorated and complemented by fresh flowers from our gardens.

Living Room

The Common Areas are for all to enjoy. The Living Room/Sun Room in the Main House is a lovely place to relax in the evening. It has a baby grand piano, cable TV, library and wireless Internet access. The fully equipped Summer Kitchen provides place for food storage and light meal preparation (a daily fee may apply for heavy use).... Throw a steak on the grill or enjoy that precooked lobster at the covered picnic table. And for your pleasure, the lawn chairs, birds, squirrels, hammock and refreshing back yard breeze await you.

Summer Kitchen

Harwich Port is an ideal spot if you want to lock the car and forget it. Our in-town location allows you to stroll around the corner to the beach, restaurants, shops, churches, harbors, food stores, bus service to other towns, and a 9-hole golf course. The town's conservation area, award-winning 18-hole Cranberry Valley Golf Course, tennis courts, Nantucket ferry and Cape Bike Trail are within a five minute drive.

Because of its central location, this quaint seaside village is an ideal base from which to explore all of Cape Cod. We can direct you to historical sites, summer theater, island ferries, fresh water ponds, museums, flea markets, charter fishing boats, whale-watching trips, Cape League baseball games, band concerts, art galleries, thrift shops, craft shows and the Cape Cod National Seashore.
