Avoid the Drive, Traffic and Parking!
Arrive by High-Speed Ferryboat, Plane, or Bus to Provincetown

In the Peak Season, traffic and parking can be a hassle on Cape Cod. Provincetown's unique small size and pedestrian-town atmosphere make it easy to get around on foot or bicycle. It's very easy to explore and stay in Ptown without use of a car. Eliminate the driving, travel here by ferryboat, bus or plane!

By Plane:

Fly direct from Boston to Provincetown Airport via Cape Air (1-800-352-0714)

By Boat:

Traveling to Provincetown by boat is highly recommended, very easy, and eliminates the driving! From mid-May to mid-October, a number of ferry boats from Boston and Plymouth to Provincetown are available and make 2-3 trips per day.

By Bus:

Via Boston or Providence from Hyannis to Provincetown use the Plymouth & Brockton Bus Co. (508-771-6191)

Provincetown Express: NYC to Provincetown. Weekend departure & return. 866-668-7876

By Car:

From the North (Boston, etc.) - follow I-95 South which becomes Rte. 3 South to the Sagamore Bridge. Cross bridge and continue down the highway which becomes Rte. 6 to Provincetown for 70 miles.

From the South (Providence, NYC, etc.) - Take I-95 North to I-195 East to Rte. 25 East to the Bourne Bridge. From I-90 East, take I-495 South which becomes Rte. 25. At the Bourne Bridge Rotary, follow the signs to Rte. 6 (Provincetown is about 70 miles away from this point).


Once on Rte 6 near Provincetown: You'll pass a sign which reads, "Welcome to Provincetown". Continue passing through a set of traffic lights and take next left at a blinking yellow light onto Shank Painter Road. Follow this road to the end, then make a right at the stop sign onto Bradford St. After driving on Bradford for 1/4 mile, make a left onto West Vine. Follow West Vine to end and make a right onto Commercial St. Follow for about 1/4 mile and we are located on the left at 31-41 Commercial St.
