Morgan
Waterfront Houses
A member of the Chatham Chamber of
Commerce and Morgan Waterfront Houses (#2, #3, and #4) are located on Pleasant Bay overlooking the ATLANTIC OCEAN. This is a private residential area and we have a small sandy beach with tidal flats and miles of PRIVATE-LIKE COASTLINE for walking. There are three houses located 450 to 700 feet from the town road in a hidden and QUIET, RESIDENTIAL area ONE MILE from downtown Chatham. Each house sits on ONE HALF ACRE of land and is nicely furnished. On the map, we are located across from Tern Island just north of the Chatham Fsh Pier and lighthouse. During low tide hours, you can walk the sand flats to Tern Island where there are small sand dunes. Pleasant Bay is eight miles long and offers protected waters and EXCELLENT FISHING. The Barn Loft and the 1800 House are located off-the-water on Crowell Road about 1-1/2 miles from our main group of houses. They are both on the same property in a residential area about 1-1/2 miles from the center of Chatham. These off-the-water accommodations are air conditioned.
Every accommodation has OIL HEAT. All of the kitchens are fully equipped with dishwashers and microwaves, and electric coffee makers. All houses have outside gas grills, lawn furniture, and color television sets with extended basic cable service. There is a telephone in each abode with dial 1 block, so bring your calling card number. All housewares are provided except linens (sheets, pillow cases, towels, and washcloths). Cribs and linens can be provided with prior arrangements at a modest cost. We do have highchairs. Large and small grocery stores and restaurants are close by. All of the houses on the water are light and airy with many windows offering spectacular water views.
