Susan Stanley had a dream. She wanted to live on Cape Cod and own a seasonal business. She also loved ice cream. So in 1996, when she had the opportunity to buy Schoolhouse Ice Cream, she jumped at it.
Since then, she and Jack Hickey have produced the most sought after ice cream on lower Cape Cod....super premium ice cream, made with all quality ingredients. 55 different flavors in all, some sugar-free! 35 available in rotation at all times, including sherbet, low-fat yogurt and sorbets. Generous portions are always served, and now we even offer special "Doggie" sundaes, small scoop of vanilla and topped with a biscuit... FREE with your order!
All can be enjoyed in the shop, which is fully air conditioned, on the deck with its windchimes and birdhouses, or on the sweeping front porch filled with seasonal flowers. Schoolhouse Ice Cream has plenty of parking, front and rear, and is handicap accessible.
