Wellfleet Bike/Hike Tour
Many believe this is our loveliest town. It certainly has aged more gracefully than most.
A simple tour can begin in the town parking lot on Main Street next to Aesop's Tables restaurant. (These are town roads, so be careful.)
200 year-old Masonic Hall
Head uphill to the second church on your left. This is the Congregational, the only one in America which rings ship's bells rather than landlubber time.
Turn right onto Commercial Street and admire the Masonic Temple, which was 200 years old last year. Continue, bearing left, to the town pier. From here, take a nature walk to Chequesett Neck, or return, bearing left on Holbrook Street back to your car on Main Street. Distance: 2mi.
